Open Play
Open Play is a structured drop-in format where players join a shared session and rotate through games rather than reserving a private court.
Participants queue in and out of matches so everyone gets fair court time, with games changing partners and opponents regularly. It’s designed to be social, efficient, and inclusive—ideal for meeting other players, getting lots of play in, and enjoying a lively pickleball experience without needing to organize your own group. Pickleball Nation offers a variety of Open Play formats, from unrated social games, to DUPR rated matches, and more!
